2. Website operation and Cloudflare

We process technically necessary log data for secure website operation, troubleshooting and attack prevention under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use Hetzner Online GmbH and IONOS SE in Germany for hosting. Cloudflare, Inc. provides DNS, content delivery and security; connection and log data may be processed, including outside the EEA with safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

3. Contact

We process name, email address and message to handle enquiries. Lettermint sends contact-form messages and Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against automated misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual requests and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Local Matomo analytics

Our locally hosted Matomo analytics is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics”. It processes usage data such as pages visited, duration, browser and device information and a privacy-preserving IP address. Analytics data stays on our server infrastructure and is not disclosed to Matomo as an external provider. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change it at any time through “Cookie settings”.

5. Sentry error analysis

We use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) for technical error analysis. It may process technical error data such as time stamp, browser and device information, page accessed and shortened or pseudonymised IP-related data. Contact-form contents are not intentionally sent to Sentry. Data is stored in the EU; a US connection cannot be fully excluded. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Local fonts and your rights

Fonts are served from our own webserver; no connection to an external font provider is made. You have the statutory rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent for the future or complain to a data-protection authority.
